NAVC announces relationship with Vetstream

The North American Veterinary Conference (NAVC), the world’s largest veterinary conference, has formed an agreement with UK-based online content supplier Vetstream to bring its valuable content from the NAVC Conference and the NAVC Institute to veterinarians around the world after the events for the first time. Lectures and learning tracks recorded at the 2012 and 2013 NAVC events will be made available via the Vetacademy web-based video player in the first quarter of 2013.

‘Go Mobile’ to help practices optimise websites for mobile access

A solution to enable veterinary practices to make their websites accessible to clients using mobile phones and tablets has been launched by online veterinary information content company Vetstream. The company’s ‘Webpartner’ service builds and manages websites for veterinary practices. It says it is offering the new solution, called ‘Go Mobile’, in response to growing demand from clients for mobile sites.

Key business development appointment for Vetstream

Online content specialist Vetstream has appointed a new Business Development Manager to capitalise on increasing demand for its subscription-based content services Canis (dogs); Felis (cats); Lapis (rabbits) and Equis (horses). Ms Jeanette Long, who joins the Vetstream from global testing, advisory and group Exova, will also take sales responsibility for working with Vetstream's network of resellers and distributors.

Nutramax links up with Vetstream

Nutramax Laboratories, Inc, a Maryland-based company which develops, manufactures and markets nutraceuticals for the human and animal health markets, has signed an agreement with UK-based online content provider Vetstream. Under the terms of the agreement, Nutramax has been offering Vetstream’s Canis, Felis, Lapis and Equis online clinical resources to qualifying veterinary clinics across the USA as part of its 2012 loyalty program.

Elsevier Dental Modules now offered on Vetacademy

The new ‘Small Animal Dentistry Core Principles’ course from Elsevier is now available from Vetacademy. Covering topics including oral anatomy and physiology; the oral and dental examination and tooth extraction techniques, the complete Elsevier course contains six modules, providing a comprehensive overview of veterinary dental care in small animals. Each module contains approximately 50 interactive screens, including self-assessment questions leading to a personalised CPD certificate.
