NAVC and Vetstream in online CPD partnership

Flexibility and convenience fuel e-learning growth, but interaction still matters - survey

The flexibility and convenience of ‘e-learning’ is fuelling growth in this type of CPD with 60% of veterinary staff questioned in a recent survey saying they expect to conduct a greater proportion of their CPD in this form over the next 12 months. This contrasts with 21.1% who responded that they expected to increase the proportion of CPD they undertook face to face and 23.2% who said they expected to actually decrease it.

BSAVA poison CPD winner announced

Carol Fee, Clinical Director of Surgery at the Zetland Veterinary Hospital in Bristol, has won a competition to correctly identify poisons at BSAVA Congress. She has won a series of CPD modules covering the most common types of animal poisoning.

VPIS links up with Vetstream

The Veterinary Poisons Information Service (VPIS) has announced a collaboration with online content supplier Vetstream to develop a series of ten CPD modules covering the most common types of poisoning to animals. The modules will be hosted on Vetacademy, a Vetstream service which provides e-learning modules and online videos in partnership with some of the world’s leading veterinary CPD providers.
